City Council Meeting Minutes

April 6th, 2026 Westgate, IA

Location: Community Room, City Hall

Mayor Brett Fulton called the regular meeting to order at 6:00 PM.

Council Members Present: Brett Fulton, Randy Moore, John Prickett, Hanna Prickett, Tasha Wolff

Absent: Josh Vanskyhawk

Others Present: Larry Trickel, Chuck and Becky Hurd, Sheryl Walker, Dave Wolff, Devin Kappmeyer, Courtney Bryan

Approval of agenda: Moved by J. Prickett, seconded by H. Prickett. All in favor.
Approve minutes: Moved by T Wolff, seconded by J. Prickett. All in favor.
Approve monthly bills: Moved by T. Wolff, seconded by R. Moore All in favor.

Budget:
Mowing: Contract: Moved by T. Wolff, seconded by R. Moore. All in favor! Brownell Mowing awarded contract
Bridge: Close Bridge post barricade. $350.000 for construction $80,000 to $100,000 engineering fee. B. Fulton will fill out paper work in county office.

Water Report: Flush systems, Need generator at lift station will check pricing,
Community Club: H. Prickett – Nothing
Mayor:Park help on clean up day went very well "Thanks to all that helped"
City Equipment: Swap tailgate to sand.
Water Bills: Nothing
Library: 4H donations lightly used stuff animals drop animals by 16th May. Library bills have been paid late wants access to Banking software Motion made by R. Moore and second by J. Prickett to allow access All in favor
