Meeting Details
City Council met in regular meeting. Savannah Hannan, Mayor called the meeting to order at 6:00 PM.
Council members present: Savannah Hannan, Brett Fulton, Dave Wolff, Tasha Wolff, Randy Moore, John Prickett
Absent: None listed
Others present: Sheryl Walker, Larry Trickel, and Attached Meeting Sign-In sheet.
Motions & Decisions
There was a motion by D. Wolff and seconded by B. Fulton to approve the Agenda, June Minutes, Treasurer's report, and bills to be paid.
Water ordinance was discussed and determined to call Nancy to correct the usage over the 500-gallon free limit to be $1.20 per thousand.
The discussion code of ordinance book to be updated, will follow up next month after the clerk checks cost.
Discussion about non-working water meters and the possibility of hiring a plumber was also discussed.
A motion to approve the Bent's Smokehouse liquor license. Motion by T. Wolff and seconded by R. Moore – all in favor.
Water credit discussion: Motion to approve by B. Fulton and seconded by D. Wolff – all in favor.
Penalties: Late water bill should be less than 25% and no penalty if working through the payment plan; will discuss more next meeting.
Motion to reduce Library board members from 7 to 5. Motion by T. Wolff and seconded by R. Moore – all in favor.
