Regular Meeting Minutes

Date: October 13, 2025

Location: Community Room, City Hall, Westgate, IA

City Council met in regular meeting. Mayor Pro Tem Randy Moore called the meeting to order at 6:00 PM.

Council Members Present: Dave Wolff, Tasha Wolff, Randy Moore, John Prickett

Absent: Savanah Hanna, Brett Fulton

Others Present: Larry Trickel, Sheryl Walker, Chuck and Becky Hurd

Motions:

Approve agenda: Motion by D. Wolff, seconded by J. Prickett – All in favor.
Approve minutes: Motion by T. Wolff, seconded by D. Wolff – All in favor.
Approve Treasurer’s report and bank statement: Motion by D. Wolff, seconded by T. Wolff.
Approve monthly bills: Motion by T. Wolff, seconded by D. Wolff.

Action Items:

Soda machine on Main Street – Motion by T. Wolff, seconded by J. Prickett – All in favor.
City equipment: Drag blade back, all items tabled until next meeting.
Sheriff payment breakdown – Make quarterly payments.

Reports:

Water Report: E. Wolff flushed hydrants, discharged lagoon, painted street hydrants, installed new window in pump house, new heater working.

Community Club: None

Water Bills: None

Library: Snow-globe fundraiser, Christmas in Westgate, Bake sale and Quilt raffle ($5.00 per ticket).
